FHM Philippines December 2010 (Ellen Adarna)

First of all, thanks to my younger sister, Cath, this issue of FHM was her Christmas gift to me (My favorite Christmas gift last Christmas that I've received). And damn, I love it! At last I completed the 2010 issues. Habei!!!

Admittedly I don’t know anything about Ellen Adarna. Just know her because before I collected UNO Magazine and she's one of the cover girl in thier issues. I know she’s a mainstay on Bubble Gang but the popularity she garnered before that stint escapes me. This is why for me... the December issue of FHM Philippines is either a hit or a miss.

Her cover shoot and story alone are reasons enough why you should buy the mag.  Anyway FHM usually closes the year with a bang and boy did they close it right with this issue! Hopefully they open it well in 2011 with perhaps the entry of girls that has yet to grace the covers of FHM! And, the Ellen Adarna interview alone was masterfully done. Well done!

Survivor Redemption Island (Sneak Peek)

survivor redemption island logo
During the reunion show of Survivor Nicaragua, a preview clip played about the next season called Survivor: Redemption Island. The theme of this show will be a new feature called Redemption Island where the first person voted off will head there instead of home and wait under the same conditions as other survivors. When the second person is voted off, those two people will square off in a challenge (sword fight to the death?) to determine who finally goes home and who remains on the island. The winner will challenge the third person voted off and so on until a certain point when the final person standing on Redemption Island will actually be inserted back into the real game for a second chance.

I am already looking forward to the new season which begins on February 16th, but don’t stop visiting until then. I’ll be posting any updates I can find on the show including cast previews / bios when I get them.

Survivor Nicaragua (Sole Survivor)

Survivor: Nicaragua
Survivor Nicaragua Sole Survivor: Judson "Fabio" Birza
Survivor: Nicaragua has finally come to an end, and after 39 days we have a winner. And that winner is… 21-year-old Judson “Fabio” Birza was crowned the champion of Survivor: Nicaragua, beating Sash and Chase in the final three. The evening started with Dan being voted out after Fabio won the first immunity challenge. Then, after Fabio won the second challenge (his third straight victory), Holly was voted out, clearing the way for Fabio’s million dollar win.

The Final 3 at the Final Tribal Council

SURVIVOR FINALE RECAP
It’s the Final 5 on Survivor: Nicaragua. Who won?
1st Tribal Council: Fabio tries to talk to everyone just in case he does not win the immunity challenge.

Immunity Challenge: Puzzle (in the rain). After falling back, Fabio wins in a come from behind! Woohoo!
Politics: Things get complicated with Fabio having immunity. Will the group still vote off Dan?
Results: After putting Holly on the ropes, Dan still gets voted off unanimously.

2nd Tribal Council
Fabio is still the target, but will he win the immunity challenge?
But before the challenge, the Final 4 remember the other survivors from the season in the traditional burning of the torchesshields.

Immunity Challenge: Sword and coin balancing
Fabio wins the final immunity challenge! OMG OMG OMG. That’s how to win Survivor. Go Fabio!
Politics: Sash keeps on lying to Fabio to try to get into the final. Fabio is loving how the three are trying to throw each other under the bus.
Results: Jeff just asking everyone’s strategy out in the open. Sigh. In the ned — Fabio made the right move: Holly was voted off unanimously.

Final Tribal Council
Politics: Sash shows how delusional he is by saying that Chase and Fabio were his “wingmen”. Fabio laughs at the notion and is excited for Tribal. Chase’s strategy is to make Fabio over-confident.
Sash was most-hated by everyone on the jury. Chase was second most-hated but had a lot of friends in the jury.
NaOnka made Fabio cry with her question about his mother — producing “the moment” on Tribal. (I now think NaOnka is a plant.)
Looks like a win for Fabio to me. So will he?
Results: The votes: Chase – 4; Fabio – 5; Sash – 0

The winner of Survivor: Nicaragua is Jud “Fabio” Birza!
Considering how awful this season was, that was still a satisfying win. Fabio is the youngest winner ever at 21 years-old. Jane won $100,000 as player of the season.

The final three, Jud “Fabio” Birza, Chase Rice and Sash Lenahan, sat before the jury at the final tribal council and had questions asked of them before the final vote. Are you surprised Fabio won Survivor Nicaragua? Seeing that he won three immunity challenges in a row and seemed to be adored by the jury, it doesn’t seem like that big of a surprise that Fabio was Survivor Nicaragua’s winner.

Christmas Day 2010

Christmas Eve 2010

"May the miracle of Christmas fill your heart with warmth and love. Christmas is the time of giving and sharing. It is the time of loving and forgiving. Merry Christmas to Everyone!"

Salamat kahit wala akong naibigay naalala nyo kami. Hehehe Bawi ako next time, pag may work na ko.
Merry Christmas Guys!!!

Music In My Head (DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love)

by Usher feat. Pitbull

"DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again"
Yeah man / So we back in the club

New Philippine Peso Bills

Image from: http://en.wikipedia.org/
