1966 - All four Beatles and Brian Epstein signed a petition that called for the legalization of marijuana.

1971 - The Beatles' "Help!" hit #33 in the U.K.

1976 - The Beatles single "Back In The USSR" hit #19 in the U.K.

1976 - The Beatles single "Got To Get You Into My Life" hit #7 in the U.S.

1978 - The movie "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," starring Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees, opened in New York City, NY.

2001 - The 3 disc box set "Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band" was released.

2012 - The Beatles iTunes LP "Tomorrow Never Knows" was released for a limited time.
